Well, I still need to do the exhaust and all the glass, redo the floor, body work and paint, taillights/headlights and all the wiring, top insert, and interior...but...

    ...I drove it today!

It has a 383 stroker and a TH350, should be fun to finally have a car that my girlfriend can enjoy as much as I do. I will be posting more regular updates, check out the video:

Yeah...it's getting there. I am pretty stoked on the stance as well. This car has been sitting in my fairly small garage since I finished the frame and did the suspension...so I haven't been able to see it from a distance. I watched the video and don't think I want to change anything about the stance. Maybe lower it an 1" in the back, but that's it. Thanks for the kind remarks, I should be mobbing it around town within the next few weeks.

Nothing like the feeling of that first time it moves on its own power....except the first time it stops with its own brakes! Great car and congrats!!!

If I was test driving today, I'd need snow tires! But at least that low bumper would plow my driveway.:D Nice car.

PERFECT! I love it! That stance is AWESOME! I'm definitely taking notes for my '35 coupe!

What are you running for suspension on this thing??

Neat car. I love '35 grilles! I'm building a '36 with the '37 headlight treatment. Has anyone ever seen a '35 with the '37 headlight? So, what is your front end set-up?

You change cars like I change underwear. Where'd you find that thing?

Looks great! What tire/wheel combination are you running. I'll be ordering a set for my 36 real soon and I'm having a hard time finding matching bias 16" Firestones in the sizes I want.

Would you believe me if I told you I was looking at your car in your avatar for inspiration when I set up my suspension? You posted some pictures a while back and I printed them out and hung them in my garage! I love that thing...stance, color, wheels/tires! A little fine-tuning and I'll get there...

I got some 15" wheels from Wheel Vintique...I think they are 550's(2.5" whitewall) in front and 800's(4" whitewall) in back. I have different bolt patterns front and back so I had to get something that came in various patterns.

look`s great , don`t know how you resisted lighting up the tires ?

  26. I wouldn't lower the back at all! The balance between the WWW's and the fenders is perfect!!!

Yeah, I see your point...there is a nice, even gap between the outside of the whitewall and the wheel opening in the back. I just want to get it out and start driving it! Should be a good time...

The rake is right on. No need to lower that rear at all. I love it.
