Projects 1934 Plymouth 2 door sedan build

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by RMR&C, Nov 19, 2017.

  1. I'm sure you could do it Bobby.
At the lower end, you weld the primaries together and fill the gaps before you weld the collectors on. Where the tubes meet the flanges is a little more fussy....you have to shape the pipes to match the port.
I kinda copied some other headers which helped a bunch.

    Ah, that make sense.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Maybe I'll give it a shot someday

Man they look great! I would rather have those than a set of store bought one's any day.

  6. Been fitting the hood before I blow it all apart....got a new center hinge installed.
Next up is removing the body, hopefully for the last time, and finish/paint the frame. The car will be a dark red color....

  8. Finally got some warmer weather...so I got the frame and some other parts painted. Lots of assembly to do now. Will start blocking primer on the body too...

That looks really good-congrats how are you doing the grill? Leaving the rods polished or painting? Either way would look great

  10. Right now the plan is to paint the grille and wheels an ivory/cream white color...

Is that 3 wheel drive what with the snow tires? Sorry, couldn't resist! Looking good. See ya at Bonneville this year? I will have my '33 Plymouth there this year.
