Does anyone know where I can find trunk hinge mounting brackets for 34 ford trunk? I think Steves used to make them but I don't think they do anymore. With all the stuff available for these cars you wouldn't think they would be so hard to find.

Anyway, any leads are appreciated. Thanks.

  2. If you can't find any you can make your own. My 34' coupe has two pieces of angle iron for mounts. ( must have been an old stock car in it's past life ) 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1/4" thick x 3" long. On one side of the angle you would cut out the center ( about 1" ) for the hinge to pass through and drill the four mounting holes. Easy enough to make, welding them in place might be another issue.

  3. I made mine quicker than you could get them shipped. My car was a rumble seat and I converted to trunk lid. Tim

I'm not worried about welding them in. But I do want something that looks stock, as my 3w body is really nice, and I'd like it too look as gennie as possible.
