Wondering if someone might lend some insight into removing the windshield frame from a 34 Ford PU? I am prepping the cab for a 5" chop and would like to remove the windshield frame. Thank you

  2. May have several screws up into the header. Probably no#12 slot head. I'm thinking it has nut plates. That should bring the w/shield frame and hinge out as a unit.

Yup. Found the screws in the header and removed them all. There are also 3 nuts up in the channel were the wiper motor resides. Does the frame and hinge just slide out towards the front?

Success. There was a gasket along the upper edge of the windshield frame that was the culprit. Once I ran a utility knife through it the windshield Frame popped right out. Thanks all.

By the way...GREAT looking cab. Looks solid and I still see pinstripes on the belting! Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

Thanks, lucked out on the cab and grill. Might be rethinking the 5" chop though. Just mocked it up last night and with the channel it a no go.
