Hot Rods 1934 coupe; will a 49/53 engine fit into this?

Hello; in a previous post I asked questions regarding the differences between the 46/48 blocks and the 49/53 blocks, but was not clear in the specifics of the what & why.... always been a 4 banger guy and new to the V8 engines!
I'll ask it this way; will a 49/53 engine with the front drive modern style distributor and different style water pumps, install without clearance issues to the radiator - frame - hoses etc? I don't know of any other way to ask this, as I have a chance to build either style motor for a future transplant and can't afford to make a big mistake when so many of you have done this in the past.
