What is it you're wanting to know? I think the original insert is still in my 33 pickup cab. Should be similar. Someone screwed a sheet metal cover over the opening. I'll see if I can get some pictures from the inside.

My avatar was my 32 Plymouth coupe, originally built in 1958- 49 Cad, Model A frame, 11" channel. Rebuilt in 1972, as seen. You can make this a great looking car. Even saw one on a deuce chassis, that looked good!
I have a 34 PE hood, a 33 Chrysler hood, and fiberglass Ai Dodge fenders & splash aprons, available outside Detroit, cheap, if you want to go that way. Also have a lot of info on 32-34 Mopars. Look on right b-pillar door jam for serial number tag. Good to apply for a lost title, too.

Does your buddy have a spare, full size trunk lid? I need to buy or borrow one to make a copy for my coupe. I'm borrowing Oliver's to make a copy but his is a rumble seat lid.

If you check out the building of the Ram Rod on Steve's auto restorations website, you can see how they did things like making a grill shell ,kind of a combination of the original and 1934 ford,it gets the mind thinking.

Do you have the car still? If so, I’d sure like to see a full size pic of it. Avatar looks nice!

The parts are located in Northwest Missouri. No extra trunk lids. I drove 300 miles(one way) to get the one I have. My buddy came with and bought the trailer load pictured above. + 6 doors and 2 decklids that came with the cars. No grille shells thou. And no fenders. I have extra fenders from another 200 mile trip.

Oliver, next time you are out at your car could you do me a favor and place a straight edge on your frame and measure the rise of the frame over the front axel, compared to the top of the frame, basically, is the top of the frame, the same as the bottom of the frame over the axel?
