I have a 1933 Chevy 4 door sedan that I am working on. The wood is very bad. Is there any place I can go to to get the inside measurements of the body? Like door widths, body width from door posts to door posts. All that little info that would really make it easier for me to replace with metal.
    Thanks for any help.

Measure what you have might be easiest?

And that little metal tag on the wood rail by the passenger front seat, its nailed on, that's your vin tag.

I will look, but I don't remember seeing a tag.
    Any way. Another question.
Is the cowl supposed to touch the frame or is it up a little because of the wood rail?
I am replacing all the wood I can with metal and want to make sure if it up a little because I am not sure if the fender slides under it a little.
    Thanks.
