Technical 1933-34 Ford Firewall Setback Pictures

    Ha ya I suppose. Still I gotta wonder.
    Engine set back with a chop and a channel, cars musta been built for midgets to drive.

    I used the setback from the center of a '40 Ford firewall. After I finished welding it in place, the firewall looked just like the '40 looks. I used an early Chev.dist. which is the same size as Pertronix or MSD units and the early water pump, the short one, a huge fan and built shroud. It ran cool without adding extra electric components.

    I'm not trying to rag on anyone, but this setup appears to not allow removal of the dist. Opening it to the top would alleviate dist. being blocked. Just my 2 cents !
