These picture are from Al Swedbergs shop in Centralia, Washington. I wish I was the one that did that work.

Here is why I have not worked on the Willys lately over the past 3 or 4 years.
I build my daughter (and yes I did everything myself on this car) a 66 Mustang I call GT140T which stands for 66 Mustang / SVO 2.3 turbo. It has 300 rwhp and gets close to 30 mpg. If you start from this page and work your way forward you can see the whole build come together. http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh296/angliagasser/#!cpZZ61QQtppZZ16

Nice job with Kent Keller's old 33 Willys. I remember seeing pictures of it on Ebay years ago and thought what in the world was he thinking. I remember the windshield was left at the original height, and laid back so far (that in theory) it would line up with the rest of the roof. Very strange looking. It was so bad, I didn't see how anyone would be able to fix it, but you and your metal smith buddy did a super job. That roof insert is slick and the rear fenders turned out sweet as well. I hope you'll continue to post updates as it progresses. Your Mustang is pretty sweet too. Cool idea with the SVO turbo 4.

Thanks angliagasser for the pictures, Al did a very nice job. I had seen an article on his work in Streetrodder many years ago when I used to buy that mag.
Some day I'll get myself one of the early coupes!

The original plan was to run a 4.6 DOHC Ford with twin turbo just outside the side panels in between the headlights and in front of the doors. Then just dump up exhaust down and out. But now I am leaning more towards a 4.6 or 5.4 DOHC Ford with this intake just sticking out of the hood.

That'd make a pretty cool combination of old & new. Can't deny the wow factor of velocity stacks sticking through the hood!

It always cool to see pictures of your car on a thread. Ive owned mine for 32 years now. It was raced by Charlie Garrett out of Hanover Pa.:D

I built mine in the 90's and kept it until 2002 when I sold it to a friend. He still has it. It's "the one I wish I'd have kept". :D
