Awesome! I've been waiting a long time to see Tipper finish that car. Looks great!

Just found these over on the Gas-FX forum. Thanks to Dean Court.

I have seen this in person a few times and the workmanship is amazing. The cab was fabricated from a sedan. It is a super neat concept, however with an asking price of $90k it is way too rich for me....

I grabbed a couple of photos for you:

Some recent findings from the web. Some from other threads on the HAMB.

Here's an interesting one. In all the pictures I've ever seen of John Carter's Willys, it appeared to me like it was a dark metallic gray, with maybe a hint of blue or green to it. Like this early 67 shot.

Then I recently came across this pic from what appears to be Indy 67. The car is clearly green.

Here's another pic from Indy 67, and the car looks more like the earlier charcoal paint, like before the chop. I suppose it could be green, but the paint sure does take on a different look in this light.

Then I stumbled onto this pic. At first, I didn't have a clue what car it was. But after studying it a bit, I think it may be a later version of Carter's 33 Willys.

It has the same injector, similar cut on the fenders, a very similar wheelie bar, and the green paint. Looks like he changed to spindle mount wheels on the front, Halibrands on the rear, and trimmed out the belt line of the car. Anybody else know anything about this car?

  8. don'tknow anything about it, but great car!

Bob Chipper's 33 Willys. Bob recently passed away, but will certainly be remembered for his outstanding race cars.

My husband and i love Jim's little truck. As a matter of fact we came very close to buying it at Beaver Springs this year. We both fit in it fine. Great Little truck.

Found a couple of cool pics recently. Here's one of the ex-Coonrod 33 Willys. This pic appears to be some time after Chuck Byrd owned it, and before Don Pettit. I would guess mid to late 70's time frame.

Here's a shot of the beautiful Del Rio & Carlson 33 Willys at the 69 Oakland Roadster Show. Awesome paint work.

New to your Fourm. Looking for a 33-36 coupe or truck either complete or a project. Sold my coupe back in 1973. Retired now and would like to find another. Any information would be greatfull. Dan

Some of modern day gassers. The old Ron Bizio truck has always been one of my favorites.
