Technical 1932 Roadster Install door check straps

    I'm looking at the kit and it looks like pre threaded screws . But don't see pre threaded holes in kick panel or door panel . Am I supposed to drill and tap or use sheet metal screws to attach . Sorry never installed this type of door check . Any help would be great

  2. Are the factory holes hidden behind the door and kick panel upholstery?

    It's a Brookville body I've never had the panels off so I don't know I'm not sure if Brookville goes to that extent of building them

    Remove the kick and door panels and you'll see the threaded inserts where the straps attach. Same on original and Brookville roadsters. 12-24 threads. The straps mount on top of the panels.

    Any one have a pic of one correctly installed ?
    I have used the other type and not that thrilled with it.
