How I missed this thread for an entire year, I'll never know.. But this roadster is PERFECT!
It's gotta feel great being this close to done.
What an amazing build.
Looks killer,sounds killer.
No more calls,we have a winner !
That's coming out great! Amazing job man.
Damn! Just damn! That is one sexy ass car
Wow.. Amazing work.. Subscribed
super nice cory !!! its great to see young talent at work
The wheels came back on Saturday, so I got them on the car and set it back down on the ground. The column tube, drop, shifter and steering wheel came back Saturday too. After installing those parts, I worked on a bunch of small detail parts - throttle rod linkage, and choke rod.
Today, I seated all of the hinge pins and hung the decklid. After that, I fired the car up, and drove it out of the garage (first time under it's own power), so that was definitely exciting.
Man I wouldnt be able to sleep for days!
I'd be hard pressed not to start driving it everywhere at this point. Looks great.
oh man oh man that looks GREAT!!!
Looks GREAT. Won't be long until Spring.
Don't tell me you only drove it out of the garage!
You have way more self-control than I would have if I was at that point in my build.

Wow!!! This is anything but"just another deuce roadster". Just when I thought I was tired of '32 Fords , I think I'm a CONVERT. Beautiful work!

Congrats, you're doing an amazing work!
Wow great build your roadster is nice.
Cory, you have raised the level of what is a super nice roadster! If I parked next to you my car would need a cover over it.
Super job, Bob
got this video from Swander this AM...
what size are the tires?
Lookn and soundn great Cory. Can't wait to see it.
Larry - you beat me to posting the video. The rears are 8.20-18s, and the fronts are 5.00-16s.
they look great on it
The smile on your face say's it all.
Super cool build!
looks like fun and it sounds awesome too
Cory, everything about that car is just "so right"!
A quick update....
I assembled the hood hardware to the hood sides with some smooth head machine screws. After that, I got the hinge rods installed and hung the hood. Surprisingly, it fit great on the first try.
The guy that painted the car came by tonight and glazed the car also. It's coming together nicely.....just need to finish the tonneau cover that'll be on the car for Detroit Autorama.
