Selling my '32 (for the second time). After building and driving this car for a few years I sold it to Don Montgomery (Old Hot Rod books author) who owner it for seven years. About four years ago I talked Don into selling it back to me. Things change - too many cars - and it's time to sell it.
All steel - Rod Bod body, Brookville fenders, Vintique shell/insert, Rootlieb hood sitting on a complete Pete & Jake's chassis. Super Bell beam axle, Possie spring, hairpins, Borgenson Vega steering box, 9 inch Ford (3.50) with coil overs and four bar. Powered by 355 ci SBC with Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake and dual 500 cfm carbs, Flowkooler water pump, Powermaster alternator, Optima redtop battery, 350 Turbo with B&M converter, Lokar shifter and e-brake. Walker radiator with Cooling Components fan. Interior is leather on Glide seat with German square weave carpet including trunk, chrome Ididit column with Banjo wheel. American Autowire harness with Stewart Warner Wings gauges set in a unique art deco panel. Sid Chavers top on chopped windshield. Wheels are vintage Halibrand Sprints with Halibrand knock offs and new B F Goodrich radials. Entire undercarriage is painted/chromed/polished including the trans.
