1932 Ford BB truck frame question...

    Did the BB series truck frame have the reveal like other '32 fords in the frame rails? Can't seem to find a clear enough pic to tell...

    No. The frame rails are just a simple c-channel with no reveal. The rails from the cowl forward are a similar shape to car, but are heavier (like 3/16" thick) and are a taller channel. I think they are about 1/4" bigger at the front crossmember and taper to about an 3/4" bigger at the cowl.

    As Neal said.
    The forward area has to be pretty close in topside contour since all sheetmetal is same as pickup. After the cab it's straight back for whatever distance the original buyer paid for... the '32 B owners manual and the '32 sevice bulletins contain a lube chart that serves as a very good plan view of the frames.
