Thanks for all the pictures, keep them coming. We just found this one, all Real Henry Ford Steel. filled roof, filled grill shell, filled cowl vent. we are going to put it back together in 50's style! flathead, wide whites, tuck & roll, hubcaps etc..... the guy i got it from lived in El Centro California. he got it in the San Diego area in the late 60's. he put it together like it is in the pictures in the late 70's early 80's. it last had a 302 and 4 speed. any info on it prior to that please let me know. it's not chopped, original frame (boxed), original garnish molding, it has a fiberglass dash in it now (he gave me the original dash), i will be putting that back in, i will remove the steering column and put in a original with a 50's steering wheel, it has a bitchen firewall, i will put original firewall back in, he gave me the original 20 louver hood also. thanks, Rob
Yes, I collect a lot of TOOLS. Besides you need something to do when it's -40. That is including the windchill, however!
Mine ... where I found it. Loading it up for the ride to it's new HOME. Putting the body back on with the help of fellow HAMBERS ... Lo C Dan and RFH 1931 And here ... after a little wash job as it looks NOW Here is a project jornal ... if you want to see more of it and the construction. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/journal.php?action=view&journalid=3880&page=1&reverse=1 .
I never really thought about it, but being friends with Tinmann and Willysguy, would mean that I have two friends with 3wnds, Cool ! Here are a few pics of mine Too....
ts3: Looks like it slowly getting there. You've got one of the best doing it. I'm really pleased with the work he did for me on my delivery. My 3 window should be in some form of primer by the end of this week. After 30 years I'm getting impatient.
Nice, guys. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! Want one, need one, gotta have one! My original dream-car. All I used to think about as a kid...well, that and...you know. Used to watch the classifieds in every Sunday paper in the mid to late '60s. I'd see them for sale for $1500-$3,000. Swore I'd have one when I got older. When I got "older" they were ten times as much. Now I've got a half-dozen projects, but not one is a '32 3-window. Now I'm gettin' real older...recently put a few up for sale, but cars aint sellin. AAAARRRGH! Oh well...here's a couple pics from my file. I'm sure they're from the H.A.M.B. I like that night shot.
A couple of locals. The blue one has been in the same family since 1959. The maroon one is a recent build.

The above all steel Henry 3W belongs to fellow HAMBER ... 3 Deuces. He lurks a lot but rarely posts ... This is one of the nicest, well built 3W coupe I have ever seen. 3 Deuces is a major factor in me owning the 3W I currently have and he also was a big HELP in putting it together. I owe him BIG TIME for all his support, advice and HELP. Black ... and just about PERFECT in my eyes ... Hidden away in a shed ... and NO ... I am not telling where. I have tried to buy it a few times. The above 3W belonged to " Just Steve " of Rodder's Digest fame. He is the fellow who started Denise's " Big Olds ". I took this photo at the LA Roadster event a few years back. This 3W really impressed me. And this 3W belongs to another HAMBER ... Turbo Dickie. He also lurks some but rarely posts. I tried to buy this 3W quite a few times ... without results ... so I built one that closely resembles it
