    1932 Ford Roadster the Big Wheel Roadster for sale

    With the collection of rare and vintage parts, the Big Wheel roadster would be a great addition to any collection and would be accepted at any show.

    · Original 1932 Ford frame front section is stretched and kicked up 2”, rear frame rail are bobbed and thinned up in the rear the entire frame is fully boxed. Model A front and rear crossmembers. Stock 32 K member.

    · Front axle early Ford dropped 4” and filled with 34 split wishbones. Shock and head light mounts custom made from F1 truck parts and 32 headlight bar.

    · Rear axle Halibrand Culver City Quick change with 36 ford axle ends and safety hubs. Closed torque tube and 36 radius rods

    · Wheels and tires 18 x 5 1/2” Halibrand Culver City smooth magnesium wheels. Firestone 700r18? C4 Racing chromed backing plates with early Ford Bendix brakes.

    · 59AB Ford Flathead with original Harrell heads, dual Eddie Meyer intake with vintage Stromberg 97’s. Vintage accessory Tach drive off the crank shaft with nos Stewart Warner 90-degree drive. Segal fuel distribution block and beehive oil filter. Scat crank and H beam rods, 1939 Ford transmission. Ceramic coated exhaust system.

    · Very nice original 32 roadster body with modified, and braced cowl top to accommodate the Duval windshield. Front grille shell is filled and modified to fit the pinched and stretched frame. One-piece hood top and custom made louver hood sides built to follow the curve of the frame. The floor pans utilize the early Ford D nuts for mounting and the correct factory rivets were installed where they are needed. The inner quarter panel structure is reinforced as well as the and x brace at the center of the body to prevent the stress cracks. Custom rear roll pan was built to finish off the rear of the car with the addition of a body line and seam to match the factory styling. Stock 32 ford firewall.

    · Original 32 Ford roadster dash modified to accept Stewart Warner accessory gauge panel. Stewart warner curved glass gauges. Custom under dash accessory gauge mount. Nos Police Special speedometer mounted off the column. Period correct cloth wiring throughout the car, custom louvered cover for the fuse panel and related items. King Bee headlights and 39 Ford taillights, Hollywood accessory license plate light. Vintage racing seat belts.

    · The Big Wheel roadster was built in 2007 by Custom Auto (now The Forge) in Loveland, Co.

    · Upholstery was done in full leather by Mike Lemire of Richmond Auto Upholstery, Richmond VT.
