How much shorter will the radiator have to be? Everything looks great. Bob

Very nice work, like several others I cant stop looking at those motor mounts.I keep saying they are just motor mounts but you make them so interesting to look at. maybe Ive never seen them do like that before. Nice job

  5. Thanks Jim

    Thanks Nick

Thanks Bob. I moved the grill shell down 2" so hopefully only that much, I might go 3" so there's some wiggle room.

Heres one from last weekend before I started the hood tops.

  6. So Here's an update finally!

Got the floor and driveshaft tunnel done, Front kickup and transmission tunnel still need fastened down some how. Made new trunk braces and Found a goo pair of houdaille shocks to run up front, of course I had to drill a series of holes in them. the link will be replaced with a dog bone style. Next I started on the hood extension, cut just after the first louver and added needed amount. Hood is stretched 5" over stock. Had a nice weekend a couple back so I got it out in the sun to get a good look at it.

    Here's the pictures.

Whatever that chop is, it is close to perfect. What is the door window opening height? Bob

  11. Got the hood welded on the sides and hinge tack/started to weld (its further along than this picture)
But I needed a break from the hood so I mounted the tail lights and made the headlight bar and mounts styled after the Rolling bones one. There low and tucked in tight...

That is an interesting stitch used to extend the hood. Your car is turning out so nice. Gary

you have done a hell of a job so far. The rolling bones stance is perfect. and you really have shown a model a can have the same look as the 32s they build. Nice job!

  22. Got the steering hooked up, bent the steering arms also. still need to shorten the draggling a little. Switched out the shock links for dog bone ones. Also got both backing plates drilled out. The axle and wishbones will be drilled eventually too.

Wow... love this car... It's almost exactly what I'd want mine to look like if I ever get around to building one...
