I’ve made progress. Maybe this summer it will be drivable. Eventually all the fenders will go back on. I have a lot of small things to do so I’m going to try to get some help to move it along. The biggest thing to be done is the body. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I had the fenders stripped treated for rust and primed until they get welded up.

The s10 rear end is out and replaced with a 60’s nova posi. The front springs were cut now the stance is where I want it. So far I’m very happy with Joe’s work.

The wheels and tire size was fixed along with the other rocker panel. All the wheel spacers are gone.

Just found this thread. Nice job. Don't worry about the Dyno HP. Torque is over 300 ft lbs and a nice curve that will really move a light car like this. Of course the appropriate gear ratio is a big factor as well. Plenty of time to play with and fine tune it once it's drive able and looking good, almost there!

Thanks, the s10 4:10 rear is gone it’s a Chevy rear from 60s now with either a 323 or 308 rear but the goal this year is to get it drivable. I’ve got the Dyno results somewhere. The mechanic told me the same thing about the tork.

I know it probably won’t get painted until next year but I’ve finally decided on the paint job.

I was really excited today. There was finally some progress and it looks hopeful I might be able to drive the 31 this summer thanks to Joe.

  20. Nice! Are you allowed to run the year of manufacture plates in Mass?

    I don’t think so

  22. We can use them up here in NH if you have antique plates. You put the year of manufacture plates on the car and keep the plates given to you by the DMV somewhere in the car.

I had the wrong person sew the bench seat cover for me not being able to do that part myself without the right tools. Fortunately
I finally found someone local who fixed it for me.

I had some one do the wiring and some other work. It’s almost ready for a drive hopefully this spring. The Ebrake is in and the wiring is close to being finished.
I need a new windshield frame and glass. Does anyone have a guy or advice? A friend recommended a guy in North Carolina. A8907730-0B94-4B57-8256-7323554ADD1B.jpeg
