I am thinking of a new project and would like to put a 300 I6 into a 1930s or early 1940s Ford pickup and also put in R&P steering. Any suggestions. Have not been able to find any builds like this on the net. thanks.

IFS /R and P steering would imply Mustang two front end- should not be hard to find photos.
Look on a non traditional site and you should be able to find some.

engine is nearly 37" long. It's a tight fit for a SBC at 29.5". Moving firewall back is not an option in a short pickup cab and extending front end that much would look odd.

  4. There could be a reason for the lack of pics.
I would think that the potential market, if you decide to sell, would be very small.
It's your truck, but not for here.
