I have a 1930 Brookville Roadster. The stanchions and the windshield frame itself are total crap in my opinion. Does somebody make something nicer that's quality? Thanks in advance. IMG_20200916_225352_883.jpg

Look for a brand name on the inside of the stanchion. Let us know what you find.

Nope , all aftermarket are not like originals lost of work to solve the problem, Originals are the only one's work correctly, upper and lower with all original parts$$ / .. Originals are hard to find locate that are complete unless you go to Hershey walk & walk , they are there you just have to find them.
I have a pair of FoMoCo Extra lowers
I also believe I still have a pair of Brookville if somebody wanted to take the time to make them fit /experiment work correctly to a A.

& two Versions of Lower FoMoCo bronze & cast steel
( I would have to put my hands on if cast steel or Not) you can tell if FoMoCo or aftermarket . The FoMoCo upper are
Stainless steel multiple parts and covers
