Technical 1930 Tudor Windshield Help

    I just installed a new wood header in my 30 tudor. I put the metal header cap on and am getting ready to install the windshield frame. I noticed though the the holes in the header cap don't fully cover the wood header the header doesn't extend over the full hole. is this a common issue? Do you install the frame hinge screws on an angle into the header? Thanks Chris.

    But hopefully it will answer your question, I used it when I put my header in...

    I actually have that saved also, it looks like the screws point rearward. Was this the same for you?

    @novaskilling yes, I followed the above pic.

    I had found other actual pics and the installation was the same. It worked out well!

    Thanks so much for the help! Going to get it in this week, did you have any issues with the windshield frame hitting the gas cap?

    I haven't gotten that far yet, as far as having a gas cap on it.

    I chopped the top 3" on my 31 Tudor so I'm really curious to see if it causes any problems.
