Trying to get the light lines across the back of the cab straight. This will minimize filler

At some point I hung the doors too early and the car flexed bad and both doors were sagging 1/2" in the rear. Now that it's got a roof and floor I went and started Adjusting hinges and got the beltline back to decent. Now to adjust the whole door opening to fit the door. Again.

My stepdad got the frame painted and is starting on chassis assembly. My buddy Matt Salamanca flew from LA to Boston with a watervliet in his carry on and helped me square away the roof more. I got distracted building an airstream last week. I'm gonna button the capsule up this week then hit it hard

The last of reworking my old work I promise. This corner was getting thin. Had to fix it.

The chassis is away at my stepdads house where he is getting ready to fire it today. Hope to have the car done for spring/summer

I love it. But my wallet doesn't. I built a second pedestal hammer to house the motor when I'm not using it.

While we're in there. It's taking some restraint to not do the other side.

Why not? I think the other side and the rear window frame are the only original pieces left! HA!
    Great job!

I think I could build a car from your discards & it would still be better than I could do alone. I admire the dedication & detail.

  21. I only know one person who does metal work that good and he recently retired. Great job sir, your passion for your work is inspired and I believe you're going to have a great car when you're done.

  28. Went back thru your tread today . Must be getting old and forgot about your home made recept machine. How hard was it to build and do you have plans . I have a Yoda copy and love it but a Pulmax or copy would be nice . Great work and you sure have been putting in the hours and your skill is really showing since you started the tread . Blue

Machines are fun to build because they're done in a month unlike cars. The pullmax wasn't bad just machined a part for it every night after work and I had it in a month. I do most of my shrinking with it
