Looking to get the current paint code for the maroon paint color that was used on the 1930 model a. I have tried to use the search feature as well as the internet plus my local paint jobber can't seem to find it. All of the codes I have found are out dated. PPG or Dupont would work or any thing that can cross referenced.

    Thanks in advance
    Jeff

There is a book called the "The Model A Paint and Finishing Guide" available through Snyders (888-262-5712), the book is part number BA-19 andt has all the Model A colors (some of which are the same as later V8s) and has real color chips in it for the colors. You can take the color chip to a good paint store who will scan it and be able to mix it for you.

Mac's Auto Parts, and probably others, stocks the ford Maroon paint by the quart. I think they use PPG codes. Their part # is RSPD1011Q
