    No problem at all,
I had a model a frame I bought for a roadster I wanted to build. I gave it to my brother for this sedan project of his... He purchased every single part to build this car. None of it we had just laying around.. A good friend sold is all the components after we purchased the body from another friend

Proof that hard work and only a little money will get you a killer hot rod! Just cut out the polished billet and carbon fibre that doesn't belong in the first place!
    Nice.

Home made shock mounts/headlight stands from left over f1 tower parts, test fit the shocks .. exhaust down pipes are on and done, she is back on 4 wheels and steers like a dream. We will be ready for the body soon. We are gonna test run the engine this week! The moment of truth

i feel like im draggin feet sometimes, hell its usualy just me in the garage.. its -15 here.. we heat the hell out of the garage and you still seem to need a sweatshirt to stay warm latley.. its terrible.. but i want to make sure he has a nice car to drive first chance of spring.. so its gotta be done!

my coupe turned out , ok... i have learned alot since i built that car and we are going to make some changes, some changes for the good as far as suspension and handling.. basicly just a few tweaks here and there. I do most of the work putting this car together. mainly because i learned from my mistakes and i know what works and what doesnt. so in order to knock this car out for spring, i show him what we gotta do and how everything has to be.. he helps by doing the cleaning and painting.

if it was up to my brother, he would have the bare chassis out side playing in the snow. i wont fire the engine yet until we are ready to run it, and have it completley driveable, ( brakes and exhaust) and i think that is killing him!

    One thing also,
I've never had a garage in my life until me and wife purchased our house .. My parents never had one either . So now that I can walk into a heated shop with lights, I seem to appreciate the hell out of it.. It's not the nicest place but a little work it will be a great shop

Yeah I can understand that. I have a small 1 car garage and half my cars are stored outside with tarps over them. Next house has to have a full shop for me to stay sane.

Waiting on the new front drums to come in tomorrow.. We didn't get much done today.. It was just toooo cold. We installed the new rubbers in the trans mount, installed all be grease fittings in every joint, and we installed the front backing plates .. Tomorrow we will Install the wheel cylinders and the shoes . Then she will be in four wheels for good! We plan on having the body back on by Friday. Fire walk is for ad ready for welding . If you notice In the picture , the top grease fitting has to be a 90 degree to clear the steering arm

Drums came in. We had to replace all the studs but they are nice drums. So they are now on so we can roll it around. Waiting on new wheel cylinders and shoes to come in. So we set the body back on. I ordered headlight bases today so we can actually pivot the headlights and adjust them

Been a while since we worked on the sedan..
Mainly because we have been waiting on parts. They finally came in! So today we built all the brakes on this car. All new stuff with relined shoes. We also installed the rubber brake hoses. This was a big step since if was a stand still until they came in. Also we got in the adapters for the headlight stands to mount the 34 headlights on a flat base .
Waiting on the T fittings to come in for the master cylinder, front and rear lines.
And we just ordered some new skins for it! I'll wait till they arrive and we get them on to show you what we got

Sandblasted the fire wall today. Filled more holes in it, welded a lot of cracks and straightened it out some. Still needs a lot of work but we can get it in the car now and make sure everything fits good . The carb arrived from my buddy in North Carolina. It's temporary . We want a 97 for on top.
Saturday will be the day, time to fire the engine .

We fired the engine today. It cranked a few times and lit right up. Runs great. I tuned the carb in and checked the timing . Jumped in it and moved it forward and backward a few times. It's Alive! Finally !. We need to order a radiator and get the car wired.
All the brake lines are on and done . She will be about ready to roll soon

Ran to summit today and picked up four whitewalls and tubes. 7.00-16 on the rear , 5.00-16 on the front . We also got some real nice stainless 90 degree elbows for the upper radiator hoses.
Four Coker tires and tubes from summit was cheaper than them directly from Coker with the alliance member discount ... And summit offered free shipping and free mount and balance if I wanted.

Wheels are painted. Should mount tires tonight and get them back on the car!
We had to roll my friends sedan out of the garage for a bit. I lowered this car for him and just gave a hand getting it ready for the road this year.
