my dad welded up this Frame 20 years ago he used 2 by 3 rectangle tube

 

this is a mock-up for the frame drop

I found a roadster cowl for $300 but the piller mount were missing so I'll have to do a little sheet metal work on that, not a problem. I did a little mock up on the wood door

 

By the way I have the model A in my living room because I don't have heat in my shop right now. Lol

 

the best hundred and eighty dollars I've ever spent on this miter box

 

I got the windshield pillars fixed and installed the stanchions and mocked up the doors

 

the woodwork mockup is ready for fitment on frame, as soon as it warms up in the shop

 

well it finally warmed up and I had a chance to fit the cowl and the wood on the frame

Really looking good. What is the wood type you are using? It will look great once finished & stained. A Fun project!

 

Thanks fellas! The wood is just for mock up. I'll use maple once I figure out the dimensions. this a drawing of the box dimensions

 

whooo I didn't wanna say anything because I thought you were gonna use that construction lumber. it will look beautiful done in maple. alway's wanted to do something similar with a A

I like what you are doing, but feel the make or break in your project is how well you get those doors looking matching at/with the cowl pillar.
Otherwise keep up the good work.
