And to think some of the guys were giving me a hard time for taking 10 years to build my RPU all by myself :D

Car & owner are well, but an equally as interesting thread got killed by a monarator so I doubt updates on this project will be posted any time soon. Bob

I've gotten over being pissed about the hot rod cord thread being locked for no apparent reason. But don't have any great updates. I've been calling engine builder twice a month to plead with him. We have very little left to do before the motor can be dropped in to the chassis.

I'll be at least 71 years old when I get my promised ride in it around the Lime Rock track. I'll send him a message and let him know he's missed. Bob

It went to the engine shop in May. Because we screwed up and didn't make a mockup of the radiator when we had the chance, we need to drop a block in and either mockup it up or take a lot of good measurements. Chuck Niles in Maine agreed to build it.

Just thought I'd look for some progress here. Is the engine still in jail at the engine builder?

Good to see progress! I don't recall seeing Winfield's mounted 90% out, is linkage going to be a problem?

We have been mocking up the radiator and working on the exhaust. Both are a big project. I'll try to get some pictures next time I'm out there.

Looks like there will be a few hours spent on the exhaust header. Good to see progress being made. Bob
