Been working on my 1928 Ford Coupe custom. Here are the 1959 Invicta inspired tail panel and grill insert I made this weekend.
Made some parts today to change the lenses in the tail panel to beehive lenses. It's chopped 6" with a 1932 Ford front roof section on it. The roof is filled with a 1958 Ford hood.
Pretty adventurous journey indeed @Noah*...bring it on!!...I guess this is an early 60s offering considering parts involved...can't wait to see this evolve...
picked up a 1961 Chrysler Astrodome gauge cluster this weekend for my Model A. The lens was in rough shape, but after sanding with 2000, 3000 and buffing with PlastX it looks new.
started re-skinning the decklid on my Model A. The original had quite a bit of rust in it. I used the roof from a Chrysler Crossfire so the decklid has a peak in it.
Just found this thread and looking forward to following along with the progress. After watching you build your AD pu, I am excited to see what you do with this A!
... Your 32 front roof section looks bitchin' ... ... my buddy Aaron did this 32 headder on a Model A for his father inlaw ...
way cool, admire your eye for tasty mods. Not many custom cars of this age I like, but I love what you are doing. Kudos for a one-off original.
