I am trying to find the panel above the deck lid for a roadster body.

I can find just about everything else.

    any help is appreciated.

I ended up with a couple of roadsters, and one is missing that panel above, but has
everything else. Weird panel to be missing.

    thanks

its a tough one to find
i ended up with one that has no real good sheetmetal on it
but the framework is very heavy inside
its a pretty simple panel if you wanted to try to make one

so if you find a rusty one....dont back away too quickly as i think its able to be reskinned without alot of trouble

    good luck

I think I'd contact Model T suppliers like Mac's and ask for their help. Then I'd go to the Antiqur Automobile Club website and any other T sites I could find and ask around. Don't mention it's for a hot rod.:)

Yeah I tried macs, and snyders and langs, there is alot of sheet metal out there, just not this piece from what I am seeing.

I know that I could make one, we have a slip roller here at work, and I could bend up the sheetmetal, but I know it is sometimes faster to reinvent the wheel. I could make it faster if I was to copy one.

    thanks for the help guys

When I was building my T roadster I started without a tulip panel. I had a guy tell me I wouldn't be able to find one and you can't make one. They have a compound curve. No one should ever tell me I can't do something. I went home that night and made one and I'm not much of a metal man
