I'm so happy you close the 28 shell. That's the one I was going to suggest until I read the entire post. Looks perfect.

Not much to report, did some interior work buttoning up loose ends. Should be on the road beginning of the new year.

  5. Looks like a nice project! Just found the thread, read all the way through. Glad I missed some of the drama and that you are continuing the keep the thread updated. I'm liking the choices you're making on this one.

Thank you it is a fun to tinker with. Was a good amount of drama a few times earlier in the post. Glad that is over with and I can keep posting the car without negative comments.

Interesting reading this thread. Great little car and i like what you are doing to it. Looks very similar to my 6cyl chev modified.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing it drive.
Thanks for the photos and explanations.

that is such a cool photo !
I like the shortened grille shell and especially like the steering wheel, column and dash. Some neat stuff there.

Little bit of work done, got the grill shell and radiator mounts made. Have to finish hooking up the motor and some wiring and will be ready to run.

There is a pretty fair chance that the body started out as a 27 roadster or RP and the builder leveled off the back of the body behind the seat. This being the chassis a buddy built with the body I dug out of the tulies a half mile behind where I sit right now when I was 18 or 19. Laurie and Kraig in the 27 T.jpg

Small update, with race season now in full swing that has taken up most of my time. The 27 is about 75-80% done. Wiring all complete, tail light and turn signals installed. All that is left to do is fuel lines, exhaust and wait for replacement holley 2bbl parts. Hopefully will be on the road within a few weeks. (Before anyone comments on my photo saying corrosion its sound proofing where the aluminum film has discolored)

Need some pics of it outside, when the weather permits. There will never be enough “T” Modifieds!

This looks to be a well thought out and built car, do you have any idea who the builder was? I'm also surprised no one from the East coast has recognized it)

Not sure who built the car or when it was built. But seems that the builder like the traditional style

Sa cool lil car! Those 6's were popular over here, & sound great through extractors & more so when they are split in to a twin system!
    I often thought a 6 in a T would be fun

Split time between Ny and the South. Can only enjoy cars in Ny for a few months out of the year

Great looking T Mod! Love what you've done with it. Get out there and drive the wheels off it!

I bought a 26/27 roadster body a few months ago but still don't really have a plan for it. I do wonder though, is there a difference between a roadster and a roadster PU seatback panel?

    BTW, sbfOOl....that's a great looking T Modified!

Not much, they both fit the body . The pickup panel is plain and the roadster panel has a raised detail.
