Well, lots of work to get to this point but the deadline is looming! I have some pics of the bed build but have not had a chance to download them. I put a few more hours into the bed than I thought but I am very happy with the results! I think the cab corners came out alright too. That build thread is here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=426777 Not much time left to get it all together. Mike
Really nice work. I like Dodge buckets and admire how you've massaged the cab and bed to flow together so well.
Thanks guys! I'm back at the shop to finish a lot of details that don't show in the pics. Should be ready to tear it apart for paint in a week.(I hope)
Here is the bed side with the top rail bead partially complete with the pullmax. Top rail is done and stake pocket is fit in. Template and lower side blanks cut Some parts of the bed layed out on the floor Side view in progress. Starting on the front panel Bare metal pic day at Big Creek! I am still at the shop tonight and working on the headers and baffles. Time is running out. My building was a Ford dealership called Alloways and I haven't taken the sign down. Yea I know I need to paint the building too. It's called patina boys! Mike
