1913 Model T Delivery Truck. This was professionally built in the 1970s or early 1980s and done in the style of a typical, "over the top", 1970s hot rod show rod. The chassis is professionally built with a custom built frame. The front end is a fully chromed, tube axle with chromed leaf springs. The rear end is a polished Jagauar, open-axle rear end with coil over springs and center differential brakes. It is powered by a V-6 Buick engine and automatic transmission. The wheels are 1970s style chrome wire wheels with big and little tires. The body has all STEEL fenders, running boards, hood and splash aprons. The body was professionally built in polished hardwoods throughout with the painted areas being steel panels. It has a domed, ribbed and vinyl covered top. The rear compartment is fully finished. The front area has a tan vinyl seat, full set of working brass gauges on a brass console, brass Model T style steering wheel, etc. There are removable upper side panels to fully enclose the front area if desired. This truck has a full set of brass head lamps, side lamps and tail lamps and a functional brass radiator as well as lots of other brass trim items. The paint, interior, top etc are in excellent condition although it could really use a good detail and polish to make it look like new again. The chassis and engine bay are very clean and would be easy to detail.. This truck has been displayed in a private museum since the 1980s and has been used little. It starts easily, runs well, and the steering and brakes operate fine. As it has been in storage, it should be fully serviced before being used extensively, but it appears to be in very good mechanical condition. This is really a well done and professionally built hot rod. The quality, fit and finish are excellent throughout. It is titled as a 1986 Ford and has a clear and current Michigan title.
