IMG_2801.JPG IMG_2800.JPG I picked this wheel up at a local swap meet today along with a 35 wire the guy had and evidently wasn't paying enough attention to what I was looking at.
Now I need to play the what the hell is it game. IMG_2799.JPG

    What is the bolt pattern?

  3. Looks sorta like a 17 inch Kelsey.

Ford wheel. Note how each spoke only crosses one other spoke. Kelseys each cross two.

Hmm...Looks to have a smaller bolt pattern than the other one?? Maybe not Ford, but definitely not Kelsey.

I didn't think it was a Kelsey, the guy had two wheels at 20.00 each and I looked over the red one pretty good and handed him the money. I'll get the bolt pattern tonight. The one in question doesn't have the nubs to fit a Ford hub and the center doesn't appear to be as deep.

  7. Possibly mopar. sugar I couldn't get a bigger picture. I know I'm not too hip to these contraptions

    Somewhat resembles early '30s Chrysler.

  9. Not Ford if it has adjustable spokes. The beige/yellow wheel looks to be a Chrysler wheel.

This is a mismatched set, the yellow wheel ,looks to be an adjustable spoke while the red one is a welded spoke.
Even the wheel width looks different between the pair.

I know that they are missmatched, that isn't the issue, I was trying to figure out what that one fit. Blame it on an old fart who was a bit tired not paying enough attention when the seller said 20.00 each. I had checked the red one over pretty close but didn't pay a lot of attention to the cream one.
They are the same diameter = 16 inch

The same width at 4 inches

And when I got my handy dandy bolt circle checker out the bolt pattern is 4-1/2 inches.

I'd still like to know what year Mopar it fits though.

  12. Looks like 1933 Plymouth, but those take 17" tires, I believe.

    International used 16" wires with a 5 0n 4 1/2 pattern.

Didn't know this so thanks for the info. When I read it I had to go out and check my Kelseys and you're right!

The OP's wheel definitely looks like a Mopar product based on the large hole for the cap and the 4 1/2" bolt circle.. To run early Ford 32-34 caps on Mopar wires you have to add a ring to reduce the hole diameter.
I have a set of wires from IHC and they have 4 1/2" bolt circle and take the Ford caps. The spoke layout is same as Kelseys with each spoke crossing 2 others but the center hub construction is different to a Kelsey Ford wheel.
