So of course i fell down this rabbit hole... The dealership / service center was Wright & Berndt and from all I could gather it was in Littleton, MA. a small(ish) town about an hour northwest of Boston, MA. Quite a show for that caliber of customs and hot rods. maybe @hoop will have some ideas!?! thats also kinda near @327-365hp isnt it?
Oh! i forgot to add... @Jive-Bomber The black custom is definitely Arthur Bentas' "The Raven" which came a few towns over from Chelmsford, MA.
Since I forgot my lunch... theres a gold pick up with stacks that by my guess is the Paul Bourgue '32 and Stan Makrush's "Gypsy" '55 Chevy convertible. research done mostly on Kustomrama site
Wow! I am 99% sure that is my old channeled blue 32 sedan with the trophies. Built by John Otis of the Fly wheels auto club out of Braintree, MA. Currently owned by his nephew Scott Otis. I actually might have some pictures from this show of some of these cars.
The gold 1955 Mercury was owned by Gary Broccoli of West Haven. Connecticut. This is the second version restyled by George and Jim Bernardo (Bernardo Auto Body) in 1961, which should help date this film.
ill leave this here, stumbled across it on a you tube rainy day binge 1950s gold first 8min is throw away then lots of drags ( a caddy v-16 shoebox ford heavy custom) then pure indoor car show gold an hour run time ,, its all Canadian cars ,, but just gold fabricator john miss you dad
Very cool videos, brings me back to that period of time we had shows like that in the town I grew up in every Wednesday night. Although I don’t remember to many mid 50s and up cars that’s what mom and dad we’re driving around in. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures. Just my memories.
