Sometimes you have to wait for the really good stuff. Must have been this time.

No Texas accent, no Hawaiian slang……:D

Looking forward to this Auction house

  5. Thanks for the update on all things, Boss. Sometimes it just all seems to be done at the same time. Looking forward to the Auction when it goes live....Don.

Being a CASO (Cheap Ass Studebaker Owner) I'd have been happy with the "bad" tag plus....won't they be more valuable like a mis stamped coin or stamp:)

No worries here, worth the wait. I'm okay with one of the first (crappy) tags too!

Can’t really see a difference. But of course I’m color blind.
Looking forward to the auction too!

    Hey @Ryan
Just for the hell of it, I am curious what happened to the tags that you sent back to the vendor? With a shortage of brass, seems a waste to toss them in the scrap bin, or were the "defective" tags somehow reworked, and reprinted to your original specifications?
    Thanks from Dennis.

Too late now but, it would have been really cool to just flip them over and re-stamp the back side. Economically speaking, of course. ;)

  12. Thanks Ryan!

Unless the pic/vid didn't do it justice they "texture" of the maroon kinda looked neat. Pointless at this stage now and no foul either way. Looking forward to my new tag.

Ohh... this is an all family on deck type of deal. Hell, even my littlest will be licking stamps. If not, it would take me months.

Stamps have adhesive on them now-unless you're using old ones-I guess that would be "traditional". :)

  22. I haven't renewed my alliance membership, I'm not a cheap bastard, just building a new house and focusing on that, but I'll be back. But in my opinion, as cool as the tags are, a window sticker would be just as impressive to me as a renewal thing. "HAMB ALLIANCE MEMBER 2023" there's only so much room to rivet the plate on your car every year.
