I would hope after this guy calmed down & realized what he was proposing, he would change his tune. Unfortunately these days "reactionary legislation" happens way too often!

Or are you advocating thievery as a means to acquire needed 'hot rod' parts? Romanticizing the less savory parts of our collective early history still doesn't make it right. Don't get the idea that I'm agreeing with the letter writer, but as any 'stolen' thread posted here will attest that mindset still exists...

 

IDK, Bill. In some ways, the Wild West mentality hasn't changed but merely toned down.
Replace cattle with hubcaps, vigilantes with 'interested citizen'. A bit more civilized, I reckon.
