  5. Cool stuff fer sure from Fremont most looks like. That 1935 Chevy standard of Bertolucci's was originally built on a challenge from another club. It was stuffed at that time with a GMC with a little firewall cut - out saving the data plate. It would continue to run/race and be show at the shows late into the 50's.

  6. Recognize a lot of the cars. Cool seeing Fremont Raceway back in the day old footage.

Great film, shot of Bertoluccis coupe and the Glass Slipper both out of Sacramento.

Never thought I would see video of a funny car bump-drafting for the win.

  16. What a great find. Looks to be the Woody Lee T-Roadster at the very first of the film.

they closed Fremont Dragstrip in the late 80's and that piece of land is just about the only thing out there that has not been developed.

I want to go back in time. lived in Fremont my whole life and only went to the drags a handful of times. could have started riding my Stingray out there about 1968 (8 years old) only 5 miles from my house where grew up.... had two fast cars in my youth and only raced my Datsun pickup at the track:(
