Just last night I was just watching the highlights Hagerty posted from this year's race. Different driver (Romain Dumas), but the T-bird still looked like a grizzly chasing a pack of rabbits, and it was still dominating with stuff hanging off of it. So cool.

Driving those Austin's must be fun I'm sure, but sliding that T-Bird all over the place would put a heck of a smile on your face.

The driving of this Fairline by Tom Kristensen is super as well.

I watched all of those clips. That was some excellent racing and driving! It was fun to see the Detroit iron flying through the curves and competing successfully against the smaller, more nimble European cars.

  9. I strongly urge anyone who loves road racing to go to this event. It is by far the most amazing spectacle I have ever witnessed in my life. My wife and I talk almost monthly about how we need to return for another visit!

Tom Kristensan flinging that thunderbird around the track has been on of my favorite/ most frequently re-watched videos since I first saw it, and even just rewatched it a few days ago after someone approached me trying to sell me/ if I knew anyone looking for a big block thunderbird. The Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed are very high up on the list of travel destinations in the hopefully near future, just seems like a blast!
