10K Tach on a Flathead?

    Found this on the dash of the Diamond T. Somebody had a sense of humor and maybe an inner desire to wind up the old Hercules like the cars on the salt.

    A 10,000 RPM Flathead? Ha Ha Ha......thats about 4500 RPM past shrapnel!

    And He'd advise you need to reset a dipswitch on the tach---10K, naw.

    Ive read Navarro would spin his blower motor in the T to 7k...it was destroked...
