Thanks Joey I enjoyed those shots especially the old magazine ad for Don Nowells Racing Enterprises. We talked often, every time was a new discovery for me, hearing about all the people he knew, his involvement in various racing from building Trans Am engines to boat engines. He also had some patents and told me about the engine shops that used his Quik-Seat tool. Many times we didn't even talk about cars, sometimes it was food or the restaurants he frequented in the S.F. Valley in his younger years, or sometimes just the weather. Gonna miss those conversations. RIP Don.
Love the shot of the father & son on the roof at the drags. Brings back a lot of memories of the 60's. It doesn't get any better than that.
Joey...thanks for your presenting content and helping make the Hamb the powerhouse that it is. From your trained eye to our desktop...always a visual feast with a story. Happy New Year.
Joey, you will find as you get older that time moves very quickly. When I was a kid in school, the clock moved about as fast as the clock in Back to the Future. As I enter my middle age,it moves like a ceiling fan and my Pop says at his age,it's a turbine.Get your adventures in while you can, because sooner or later you run out of clock.
Hi Joey.Great post.May you have a happy, healthy, safe and prosperous New Year from me and mine to you and yours. Good luck.Have fun.Be safe, Leo
