Always enjoy seeing the car. I remember watching it run at Milan back in 68/69ish. I bump into it at least once a year and always go over and take a look to relive some old memories I suppose. One of the few running an old truck axle which was not all that uncommon in that era-some crazy gears available. Thanks for the video.
8mm film footage priceless. What a cool guy, car and story. Seeing his actual '55 Ford in those pictures, gave me a lump in my throat. Thanks for posting. Something he said, in the film, struck a chord with me. The whole idea of blue collar worker, building the best machine, he could, with his own 2 hands. This is my major problem, with people nowadays, throwing together these rust buckets. Where's the pride in workmanship?? We all know the one's I'm talking about. JT
