I don't know either of these guys but, they were doing their thing at the Eagle Field Drags a couple of weeks ago. Maybe some of the Eagle Field faithful can help with contact info.
I know Kevin has the "Nasty Habit" in the classifieds right now, but he was the first guy I thought of when Ryan said a wheelstander that is "appropriately styled". Although, the Nasty Habit is really more of a street legal race car and not an exhibition car I would love to see KiwiKev lift the front end coming off the line in person.
http://www.southeastgassers.com/ The SEG guys are off that weekend. I'd be willing to bet at least a couple of the bunch would be willing to make the trip, if none already live close by. I know my fellow club brother, Dog_Patch, has only a few miles on the front tires compared to the slicks of his '39 Dodge he runs with these guys in their A/Gas class.
Here, this article might be helpful to any of you guys willing to step up to the plate as a fill-in to accommodate the Boss' request: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/the-physics-of-wheelstands A wonderful line from the article: "Academia has made far too little effort to explain the dynamics of the wheelie." Oh yeah....
Carl has hired this guy in the past. I would talk to Carl and see what he thinks before I talked to the guy. Carl should have some contact information. He travels and lives on the road through the summer. I have edited my original post. I had the wrong information entered. Old people should not try to paste information in a post. This is the guy that I have seen at MOKAN Richard Hutchins Chevy Rebellion I found him on this list http://www.draglist.com/draglist/category.php?VIEW=Extended&CATEGORY[]=WHEELIE&x=exhibition&SORTBY=LNAME,FNAME,YEAR,ENTRY,ENG,MAKE,MODEL,CHASSIS John
Wow. General Lee. He did a show at Balboa (Eugene) in 1968 or 9 and I was roped in to help start by skirting alcohol in the injector. Quite a rush for a young guy.
Marty, you know I can't remember, it was 48 years ago. My general recollections was a touring racer rode hard & put away wet. Whenever someone posts a wheelstander I would wonder why I never remember seeing much on the General and here he is 80 years old & looking better than ever.

There is a '65 Econoline pickup wheel stander on the Springfield, MO Craigslist right now. Somebody could step up and buy it. Convince the wife it's a daily driver. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
John FORCE's brother, http://bangshift.com/general-news/e...stander-a-great-piece-of-drag-racing-history/
The HAMB pissed off the Chevado guy about 15 years ago, I was going to try and get him to a local strip.
