I know that the rule of thumb is 1" either way for wheel size; but I'm not sure what will happen if I put 10.5" slicks on the wheels that I already have. I'd rather not have to buy new wheels, or slicks, if I don't have to. I'd imagine that it'll be harder to get the slick to square up to the track, but is that it? I've gone against so many "rules" like this that I just figured I ask.
throw em on....might a little less air to get a full contact patch , but as long as its not on a 4000 pound car , the ride might not be bad...
Good to hear, thanks guys. I'll get 'em mounted up this week. Now, what about the whole running with scissors thing? or running a spool on the street? or mixing bias and radials? or falling in love with a gal way out of my league?
