I love this one-
I miss the revolutions. I was so excited for the Gruene one, but mother nature wasn't ready for it. hope that maybe some day it comes back.
Love those B&W shots. Someone explained to me once why B&W shots seem more real to me, but I forgot what they said.
I loved these shows. A few select cars parked to allow easy, lengthy and unobstructed viewing Never had I attended such a visually stimulating car show. I too was looking forward to another.
Thoses B&W's are great
captures the now like a step into the past
Those look really nice , I really like how crisp those are. I shot that first Revolution with an SLR 35mm but I have since found an early 60’s rangefinder that I shoot most every thing with now . I hope you don’t mind here are some shots from the first one at the power plant.
I liked this shot so much that I took it multiple times. I have this film shot and then I have like 6 others I took with my digital. Gad was getting sick of flipping me off - you can tell in the later shots.
The M3 doesn't have a meter... So typically, I shoot with my digital, preview it, and then set my M3's shutter and aperture. It's cheating.
We will do it again. Promise... But only when we find a venue as special as our last venues...
These are great.
That's Smokey Yunick tricky.
Great shots and that building is amazing!
When shooting with just film, one is required to slow down and really view the subject because you get one chance and the thought that every-time the shutter clicks its gonna be money and time, not just a computer screen.
Plot thickens. Blake just filled a lawsuit. I'm a fraud. And I'm probably going to jail after my own lawyer gets done with me.
Thus far, I can say for sure that Blake shot these:
And I don't know where this shot came from, but it's not in my negs:
The rest I think are mine and from that roll... But I don't know that I'm trust worthy enough to make that statement.
See you guys in 5 to 7.
At this point, it's like two roommates arguing about who really owns the Rapper's Delight LP. Let's just agree to call it 'our' record collection, OK...?
Ryan these are absolutely killer. In love with how raw the shots feel.
Yeah me too !!
Great shots and great memories, the 2010 Revolution was legendary.
@Ryan, you do have a eye for this and that camera doesn't fuck around...it delivers...Leica has earned its eternal presence that's for sure...nice roll of film...
Really nice to see those shots from Penngrove. All those familiar cars, nicely done. There is a reason film is making a comeback, or did it ever really go away ?
