Ok I installed a 3sp trans in my 1950 ford. I have been working on the linkage adjusment. jacked the car up and noticed a pool of fluid today. looks like its dripping from the rear shaft where the driveline slips in.Do I have a problem and if i do what is the fix?

    thanks

sounds like just a bad seal. Easy to fix.

Get a new seal, pull the driveshaft, remove the leaking seal, check the number and be sure it is the same as the new one, install the new seal, install the driveshaft, check fluid level in transmission, fill if necessary, drive away happy.
