Very nice, but I don't think it's 1/4 scale. Too small.

The guy on the right said that it was 1/4 scale, and a sedan model went for over $30,000. He said that the coupe might go for around $40k.

I want one, that would look nice in the China cabinet where all those stupid plates are

  6. I'm wondering if that was a movie prop.

....if I recall, the Hudson was a paint 'buck' for the designers to test out various paint combinations before production. I think the 1/4 scale reference was for the coupe....

Imagine if that 32 was a Ford!

  9. I saw that on the show last night - across a loud bar. Wondered what they were saying about it.

It and another huge model like that are featured in a toy book I have at home.

Saw that last night too. I want the paint model. $1400 seems reasonable for something like that.

  11. I have personally seen the '32 Hudson sedan and '32 Essex coach that were done like this at the factory. Years ago. They even have detailed interiors! Yes, BIG BUCKS.
