Had a great time at the Back to the Fifties event this weekend. I have seen this car in pictures before,but never in person til this past weekend. The picture I took of Faith Grainger standing next to the car gives you an idea of how small the car really is.
yes, it runs. I believe he has a little Toyota engine in it. he hand formed all the parts using old washer machines,fridges,etc..
saw this car at ottawa, ks car show last fall, it is so KOOL!!! you really need to see it in person to appreciate its size and the quality of work in it, and to see them get in it and drive away!!
i seen that shrunk down little fart cruisin, at least it would be a lot easier driving through the crowds wiht it seems like a lot of odities can be seen at this show like V12 Seagraves too
Ernie was one of the originators of the Dwarf Car Company, which is still in business in Phoenix building 5/8 scale circle track racers.
I parked next to him at Back to the 50's last year and talked to him about his cars, he says it is fun passing people on the interstate with them and watching the look on their faces.
