    What happened!!!!

    Did I miss something?

Were you able to get the piece of automotive candy to the party?
The date of the meet has come and gone (as I remember)

    Does it run and drive?

While it has been great fun to follow along, there is no doubt that keeping this site updated consumes a large amount of time (even if he has someone else doing it) and from what he last showed us he had quite a lot to do to have an operational racer.
My guess is that the car took priority over this site and we'll hear all about it pretty soon.

    Patience Grasshopper, haha.

He still has a couple of days left before the event

The 2022 Lake Perkolilli Red Dust Revival runs from 19 to 25 September, with re-enactments on the clay track from 23 to 25 September.

For spectators, Kalgoorlie is the closest town with hotel/motel accommodation, but most people camp at the claypan.

Assuming got it somewhere near finished, he is probably en route.

Looks like he snuck a motorcycle build in before the trip. Go to his youtube channel to find it.

If you watch the last few seconds of this video I think you'll be pleased with what you see.

First off it was one hell of a last week grinding on the bike and car to get them finished and get them loaded on the trailer to start making headway for lake perkolilli. We just got back yesterday and into service, over the next few days I will gather photos and videos to share. We had a few teething issues to start off with but we’re expected, with the help of some great people we solved these and moved on. The bike and car both ran incredible. And hit speeds I didn’t think were possible. Now it wasn’t really a race for speed or time but was great to see what it had in her! I recorded 96.5mph but the following day tweaked the carb and definitely cracked the ton, I will be going back to get evidence of so. Now the event is more of a parade for the spectators so top speeds are not really needed. I will go into more detail about the entire event, the planning and how much bloody fun it was. Here’s a few teasers

Car looks fabulous, and speeds achieved were fantastic, which means the handling must be good too!

Getting the bike done as well is just too much!

The only thing that kept me going for the last couple of weeks was the little clip of the car running at the end of the Ariel build video.
    You're quite the teaser!

Nice job, now get some sleep and then show us the whole shebang ;)

    -Outstanding effort and results

The picture of the three of you out at the site look’s like the 30’s. Beyond being framed and composed perfectly it reflects the satisfaction that you made it. Your making memories that will last all of your life

    Well done!

YEah, I don't want to steel Jordan's thunder, so I'll let him share the video, but there's a lot of good stuff there. Looking forward to seeing the one from the trip/race.

Congrats @jordabennett on an outstanding build and adventure!

Wouldn’t mind some info. Modifying them to work with the race car. E5766D82-36BE-4E81-BF0D-78BEDFF833EE.jpeg 088677AF-853E-48B2-B0E1-E564BB9D3660.jpeg 8AFF227F-B6DC-4E22-BF0A-0C1C5EBEDD5B.jpeg 19A18840-04ED-474A-B762-B64B487403B8.jpeg 12F9917E-7BAD-46E7-99D4-94CA7C8A86D1.jpeg

I like the last position the best. Looks like it would provide the widest shock base (if that's a thing).

I wonder about the swastika
