very cool bunch of cars, shop has character also, thanks for sharing
Thanks guys! Updates in the morning.
Appreciate it! I definitely can’t sing hahaha
Wish I took more pictures. I’ll see what else is have. I just cut out a piece to a little bigger than I needed, folded the edges over by hand, hit it with a hammer and dolly a bunch and used the shrinker/stretcher and English wheel for some shape. It was a tough one for sure.
Thanks! I’m enjoying it for sure
Just about finished with the seat
Beautiful job on the seat!
mate, that seat is great! well done
Thanks everyone! I’ll be getting back on this thing this week finally. Been dealing with to many other cars lately.
Finally got the driveshaft and torque tube shortened and back under the car. What do you guys think of these shock mounts? Going to see how they work out tomorrow.
Excellent build !! , can't wait to see the finished product , I'm at the same stage as you , but driving mine , l'll see if l can post some pics
Thanks! Yours looks awesome! Definitely motivation for me to get mine together.
I got everything bolted up and ran the brake lines. Just waiting on shocks and an e brake cable.
Flatheads & A's; kinda like bacon & eggs, what's not to like.....love it.
So I moved on to the front end. All the speedway junk is getting trashed. It was all loose and bent. Getting a ford dropped axle from a friend so now I just need to get some perch pins and a new spring.
Getting everything cleaned up and put back together with this old ford 3” drop axle. Need to drop the steering arms.
So I was able to get the steering arms dropped and stick the body back on yesterday
Picked up a bit of a distraction yesterday. ‘29 roadster that someone attacked with a sawzal. Almost have it all tacked back together so back on the coupe tomorrow. Saving this one for the winter.
Ok now back to the coupe
... @kustomitch, minus a few modern details your Garage Scene is like stepping back to 1952...
It sure is. Sometimes it really sucks but I make the best of it haha.
Lots going on. Tons of parts coming in. Lots of nos stuff. Finally got the new front spring, shackles, and perch pins in and got the car back on the ground. Also started messing with the wishbones.
