<<<<< 5 1/2".... I think....
this one was 4 1/4 rear and 5 front with the a pillars leaned (actually cut across the cowl so it didn't get the kink in the pillars)
2 inches on a 49 Hudson Brougham.
4in outta-d-top.... still waiting on a bonded title
My '51 Plymouth with 3 1/2" taken from the front and 4 1/2" taken out of the rear with the stock rear window tilted forward. I wanted an even chop so that's what was required to make it as even as possible. The rear window is the one thing I don't really like. Maybe before I paint it I'll redo the window.
D-train's '54 is going to look killer when it's done.
Thank you sir! I love the in progress pictures.
Wow, absolutely beautiful.
that looks NICE
Lets just toss in a totally insane chop from back in the ol' days,,Big Al drag car. HRP
Crazy! I love it.
Mine is 2 1/2". I should dig it out and finish it, it's been sitting for 24 years and counting. Maybe when my current one is finished.
30 chevy started life as a ton and half
No offense man but your truck doesn't quite fit the whole realm of the HAMB. It's a bit far from a traditional build.
My old '30, 8 inches down...
Cut 3" at the B pillar, 2 1/2" at the A pillar. Top lined up at the B pillar, windshield leaned back. Windshield still opens and rear window still rolls down. Top filled with 56 Chev sedan skin.
My 57 Merc has 2 inches out of the crown of the roof and 1 inch out of the posts and my 30 Model A has 3 inches removed.
My 48 kaddy
Jeebs those are some big taillights!
4 in front 5 in back.
2 1/2 inches
Another 4" A...
Just did some research on that car, f-ing epic... That's why I love this forum - you start out drooling over some awesome chops, only to find yourself learning about how a guy in the early '60s dropped a 2000hp V12 Allison into an A.
'51 Chevy owned by Ron Lawson from Owego,NY. 1-3/4" chop at front, not sure about rear, but he lowered the trunk lid into the rear fenders, note how much deeper it sits. Tasteful.
4 inches out of the posts, 3/4 inch out of the crown, slid the rear window/beltline forward 3 inches
Heres mine 3 inches in front not sure about the back. It was also a 4 door I have pics in my album. I pulled it out and took pics today, its 12 degrees
I dig that. Very well done.
