weil am rhein roaddevils hotrod show 3 day build

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Gasolinedeniz, Jul 4, 2008.

  1. well as some of you allready now we plan to build in weil am rhein 08 (29-31 august) a citroen rpu on a tight budget. durring these 3 days we like to do a workshop together with johnny from coolcat kustoms and show the peoples basics in hotrod building like , boxing a frame, fitting front and rear end , fitting a Drivetrain, brakes and steering . Because everything has to be kustommade on this citroen we startet with a little prework, like we have to widen the frame a few inches , making the subframe for the cowlsteering and so on ,i think most of you now the game.
Well dudes here are the first pictures of our project . In weil am rhein the car seems to be stock again ,but we will have all the brackets and so on allready in our bags

  11. Wonderful project....BUT if you re using that big V-8, you better add some boxing plates to the light weight frame. Also looks like you need a stronger front crossmember for the cross spring.
Best of luck with the build.
